Drop In Procedures

1. As players arrive they proceed to court #4 to check in. Then they will go to a court requiring an additional player. The first to arrive will occupy the western most court. When there are four players on a court, the new arrivals go to the next court and pick a partner.

2. All matches are 'no-ad' and scored as 1,2,3,4. When all players have served once, the match is over. The team with the majority of wins advances. If the match ends in a 2-2 tie, there is a one service tie break. The team winning the spin of the racket can choose to serve or receive. The receiving team can determine who receives the serve. Winner of the tie-break advances.

3 All matches should end at about the same time. When play ends on all courts, the winners advance to the next court to the east and the losers move to the west court.

4. When you arrive at the adjacent court you and your partner split up and get new partners from the players joining you on that court. All attempts should be made so you don't play with the same partner more than once during the Drop In session.

NOTE: If you attend Drop In, stay for the entire session unless there is an odd number of players.
