Cyrus Yale Edgell b. June 9, 1882 d. January 5, 1957

Cyrus Yale Edgell's parents were Dr. Ananius Waitman Edgell and Flora Adams. Cyrus was the second of ten children (six boys and four girls).

Cyrus left West Virginia and traveled to Akron, Ohio on July 4, 1903. He was employed in the rubber works in Akron.

Cyrus was told wrongly by his doctor that he had six months to live and needed to move to a higher climate. Cyrus moved the family to Colorado in 1923

Cyrus was in the grocery business until retirement in 1953. He died of coronary artery occlusion on January 5, 1957. Sylvia lived in Denver until her death in 1974
